Furniture Removal in Charlotte, NC & Surrounding Areas

Sofas, sectionals, mattresses, dressers and desks taken out of tight rooms, hallways and stairways.

Furniture removal covers single pieces and full rooms: sofas, beds, dressers, dining sets, desks, office chairs and patio furniture. We do the lifting and carrying, including from upstairs rooms and tight stairways. Pricing is based on the space the pieces take up, with disassembly and difficult access quoted separately.

Furniture Removal: a living room with a sofa, armchair and coffee table

Getting a piece out is usually harder than lifting it. We bring dollies, straps and blankets, and we take doors off their hinges when that is what it takes. If something has to come apart to clear a doorway we will do it, and that time is quoted on top rather than absorbed into the total.

Before we arrive, tell us which floor the pieces are on, whether there is a lift, and whether anything is likely to need dismantling. A photo of the piece and one of the route out answers most of what we would otherwise have to ask on the phone.

Condition decides where a piece ends up rather than what it costs. When possible, usable furniture may be routed to donation or reuse options. Receiving organizations may decline items that are torn, soaked or infested; those go to an appropriate disposal facility instead.

How It Works

  1. Send Photos or Tell Us About the Job Tell us what needs to go and send a few photos if you can. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.
  2. Get an Upfront Estimate We review the job and send you a clear estimate, along with a time that works for you.
  3. We Confirm the Price, Then Load Nothing is loaded until you approve the final price. We handle the lifting and sweep up after.
  4. We Sort & Dispose Responsibly When practical, usable items may be routed to donation or reuse, and recyclable materials may be separated. What cannot be reused or recycled goes to an appropriate disposal facility.

How Pricing Works

Furniture is priced by the space the pieces take up rather than by the piece or by the hour. Two things move the number: access and disassembly. Stairs, long carries and anything that has to come apart to clear a doorway are quoted on top and shown separately.

That is most of what this job actually is. We bring dollies, straps and blankets, and we take doors off their hinges when that is what it takes. If a piece has to come apart to clear a doorway we will do it, and because that adds real time it is quoted as extra rather than absorbed quietly into the total.

Yes. Stairs and long carries from a back room or a third-floor walk-up cost more than a ground-floor pickup, and you will see that in the estimate before we start rather than on the invoice afterwards. Tell us which floor you are on and whether there is a lift.

When possible. Usable pieces may go to local donation or reuse organizations, but that depends on their condition and on what the receiving organization is accepting at the time. Receiving organizations may decline upholstered furniture that is torn, soaked or infested, and we will tell you which category yours falls into from the photos.

Beds, dressers, wardrobes, dining sets, desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, sofas, sectionals, mattresses and patio sets. If it is furniture and it is not on our restricted materials list, assume it is fine. Send a photo of anything unusual and we will confirm.

By the space the pieces take up in the trailer rather than by the hour. One armchair is a single item pickup; a living room and a bedroom together will land somewhere on the load scale. Disassembly and difficult access are quoted on top and shown separately.
