These Terms of Service apply to services provided by Haulchemy LLC and to information published on haulchemy.com. By booking or approving a job with us, you agree to the terms below.
Services & Service Area
Haulchemy LLC provides junk removal, hauling, cleanout and related removal services in Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding communities.
Service availability depends on location, scheduling, job size and the material being removed. Areas shown on our website represent our primary service area. Locations outside our normal service area may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Estimates, Pricing & Final Approval
Prices shown on our website are intended to help customers understand typical job costs. They are not a guaranteed price for every job.
Photo and phone estimates are based on the information provided to us. The actual volume, weight, material type, access or condition of the job may change the final price.
Before we begin loading, we will confirm the price with you. Nothing will be loaded until you have approved the price.
Our standard quotes generally include labor, loading, hauling, basic sweep-up and normal disposal costs unless we tell you otherwise before the job begins.
Heavy Materials & Special Pricing
Concrete, dirt, brick, roofing shingles and other dense or unusually heavy materials may be priced separately from normal household junk.
Certain items may also involve additional disposal or recycling charges. If a job requires special pricing, we will explain it before the material is loaded.
Items We Cannot Accept
We do not knowingly transport hazardous or regulated materials that require specialized handling.
This may include paint, solvents, household chemicals, asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing materials, fuel, gasoline, oil and other flammable liquids, propane tanks and pressurized cylinders, medical or biohazardous waste, ammunition, explosives and fireworks, and similar items.
Tires are accepted, but additional disposal fees may apply depending on quantity and type. Let us know in advance so we can include them in your estimate.
If we discover material that cannot legally or safely be transported, we may leave that material at the property and continue with the rest of the approved job when possible.
Access & Property
Customers are responsible for providing safe and legal access to the items being removed.
Please let us know about stairs, narrow entrances, elevators, gated properties, difficult parking areas or other access issues before the appointment whenever possible.
We take reasonable care while working on your property. Customers should move fragile or valuable items away from the work area before removal begins.
Haulchemy LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, unstable furniture or structures, or damage caused by unsafe conditions that were not reasonably visible before work began.
Ownership of Items
By asking us to remove an item, you represent that you own the item or have permission from the owner or property manager to dispose of it.
Haulchemy LLC is not responsible for disputes involving items that a customer was not authorized to remove.
Please make sure personal documents, valuables, money and items you intend to keep are separated before our crew begins loading.
Donation, Recycling & Disposal
We try to keep usable materials out of the landfill whenever practical.
Items may be donated, recycled, processed through an appropriate facility or disposed of based on their condition, local facility requirements and what options are reasonably available at the time.
Donation or recycling is not guaranteed for every item. Once an approved item has been removed from the property, Haulchemy LLC determines the appropriate disposal or recovery method unless another arrangement was agreed to beforehand.
Haulchemy does not issue charitable donation receipts. If a receiving organization provides documentation and we can reasonably pass it along, we may do so, but a receipt cannot be guaranteed. If you specifically need a receipt for tax purposes, donating those items directly is the safest option.
Scheduling & Arrival Times
Appointment and arrival times are scheduled as accurately as possible, but hauling work can be affected by traffic, previous jobs, weather, disposal facilities and other conditions outside our control.
Same-day service may be available, but it is not guaranteed.
If a delay affects your appointment, we will make a reasonable effort to contact you.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
Any deposit, cancellation charge or special scheduling requirement will be disclosed before you confirm the booking. We will not add an undisclosed cancellation fee after the fact.
Payment
Payment is due when the agreed work is completed unless another arrangement has been approved beforehand.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the price before loading begins.
Additional items added after the original quote may change the price. We will confirm any change with you before removing those additional items.
Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
Our 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee applies to the agreed scope of work. If you believe something included in the approved scope was missed or not completed properly, please tell us before we leave whenever possible. If you notice an issue after we leave, contact us within 24 hours of job completion.
We will review the concern and make a reasonable effort to correct covered work at no additional labor charge.
The guarantee does not cover additional items that were not part of the approved job, changes of mind after removal, hidden or pre-existing conditions, prohibited materials, requests outside the agreed scope, or donation, recycling or disposal outcomes after an item has been removed.
The guarantee does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund. Any refund or other remedy will depend on the circumstances of the job and applicable law.
Insurance
Haulchemy LLC maintains insurance for its business operations. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions and limits of the applicable policies. Certificates of Insurance can be provided upon request for HOAs, commercial properties or other jobs where documentation is reasonably required, subject to insurer processing and policy terms.
Calls, Texts & Estimate Requests
When you provide a phone number while requesting an estimate or booking a service, we may call or text you about that request, scheduling, pricing or the related job.
Standard carrier message or data rates may apply.
Providing a phone number for a service request does not give us permission to sell your information or send unrelated marketing messages without the appropriate consent.
Website Information
We make a reasonable effort to keep haulchemy.com accurate and current, but prices, service availability, accepted materials, service areas and other information may change.
Information on the website is provided for general guidance and does not replace the price and scope agreed to for a specific job.
Website content may be updated without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
Haulchemy LLC is responsible for performing agreed services with reasonable care.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, customer-provided information that turns out to be inaccurate, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under North Carolina law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service when our services, policies or business practices change.
The current version published on haulchemy.com will apply to future service requests.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
