The Story Behind Haulchemy
Haulchemy LLC is a family-run junk removal, hauling and cleanout company founded by Oguz Gorgec in 2026, serving the Greater Charlotte area. The goal was straightforward: give people a local alternative to the national chains that is more personal, easier to reach and fairly priced.
Where the name comes from
The name Haulchemy combines haul and hauling with alchemy, a word associated with transformation.
The name carries the belief the company was built on: something being junk to you does not automatically mean it has to become waste. Our job is not only to move things out of a space, it is to transform the space, put usable items back into use through donation or reuse, and separate what can be recycled instead of sending it all to a landfill.
That is what The Alchemy of Hauling means. Whenever practical, we look for opportunities to donate, reuse or recycle items before the rest goes to an appropriate disposal facility.

We handle both residential and commercial work, from a single item to a full property cleanout, across Charlotte and the surrounding communities. You get an upfront estimate, the final price is confirmed before anything is loaded, and we do all the lifting.
