Common Questions About Our Services
Straight answers on pricing, timing and what we can and cannot take. If your question is not here, call or text us.
Standard pricing starts at $99 for a single item or minimum pickup. A full 15-cubic-yard load starts at $599. Jobs can cost more if they require additional loads, heavy materials, special disposal, difficult access or extra labor. We confirm the price before loading begins.
Most standard jobs are priced by volume: you pay for the share of our 15 cubic yard trailer your items take up. The scale runs from a single item or minimum pickup, through 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 loads, up to a full load.
Item type, access and disposal requirements also affect the price, and televisions, appliances and tires carry a separate per-item disposal fee on top of the load. Current prices for every load size are listed on our pricing page.
Send a few clear photos and we can usually give you an estimate before we come out. We confirm the final price before loading. If the amount, access or material is different from what was shown, we will update the price first.
We remove furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, general household clutter, yard waste, hot tubs, playsets, cleanout contents and light construction debris. Jobs range from a single item to a full property cleanout, for both homes and businesses. If an item is not on the list, send us a photo and we will confirm.
We answer calls and texts during business hours, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, seven days a week. Estimate requests sent through the form are reviewed the same day where possible, and we reply by text, call or email depending on what you asked for.
Yes. Photo and phone estimates are free with no obligation, and on-site estimates are free as well when the job needs a look in person. You are never charged for a quote.
Standard household and commercial junk is priced by volume: how much space your items take up once they are loaded. Weight only becomes the deciding factor with dense materials like concrete, dirt and roofing shingles, which is why those are quoted separately and confirmed from photos before we schedule.
Paint, solvents, chemicals and fuels are classed as household hazardous waste, and they need a different disposal route from ordinary junk. Haulchemy does not accept paint, solvents, fuels, chemicals, asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing materials, pressurized cylinders, medical or biohazardous waste, ammunition, explosives or fireworks. Check with your local household hazardous waste program or an appropriate disposal provider.
The sorting is the slow part and that is on you. Loading time depends on the amount of material, access, sorting and disassembly. Photos help us give you a more realistic time estimate.
Why Choose Haulchemy
Upfront pricing from a fully insured company, and a disposal process that puts donation and recycling ahead of the landfill. No surprises on the invoice, and basic sweep-up is included with standard jobs.
