This one is for loads that are mostly still usable rather than a cleanout with a few good pieces in it: furniture in good condition, working appliances and electronics, housewares, small goods and boxed clothing and linens. Condition decides where items end up, so photographs matter more here than on any other job, and they are also what the estimate is built from.
Receiving organizations may decline items that are torn, stained, damp, broken or otherwise unsuitable for donation. Acceptance depends on the organization, the item’s condition and current acceptance requirements. A mixed load may split, with some items going to donation and the rest going out as ordinary removal.
We do not have a formal arrangement with a particular charity. Usable items may be taken to local donation organizations depending on their condition and what the receiving organization is accepting at the time.
Haulchemy does not issue charitable donation receipts. If a receiving organization provides documentation and we can reasonably pass it along, we may do so, but a receipt cannot be guaranteed. If you specifically need a receipt for tax purposes, donating those items directly is the safest option.

- We Sort & Dispose Responsibly When practical, usable items may be routed to donation or reuse, and recyclable materials may be separated. What cannot be reused or recycled goes to an appropriate disposal facility.
How Pricing Works
A donation pickup is priced the same way as any other load, on the space it takes up. Condition decides where the items end up rather than what they cost, and a mixed load usually splits between donation and ordinary removal without changing the basis of the price.
